Cookies… cookies… cookies… I love cookies. Be it chocolate chips cookies, choco chunk cookies or peanut butter cookies, I always store some in my bag whenever travelling. Those are just mood-freshening, stomach-filling and my best friend!

This recipe blog is about telling you how to make cookies at home. Now you don’t require to buy them from the stores, not anymore! With my easy cookies recipe, you can surely make some delicious and yummy ones at your kitchen! One more thing, for all my YouTube friends, I will provide both oven-baking and kadai-baking instructions. 😊

Let’s get started with the recipe.

Cookie dough recipe for multiple cookies

Ingredients

For the cookie dough,

  • Butter (melted & at room temperature)– 1/3 cup
  • Powdered sugar – 1/3 cup
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • All-purpose flour – 1 cup
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Corn flour – ¼ cup
  • Pink gel food colour – 3-4 drops
  • Chocolate gel food colour – 3-4 drops

For decoration,

  • Chocolate chips
  • Dark chocolate chunks
  • Peanut butter
  • Roasted peanuts

Method:

  1. Take a bowl and add butter and sugar in it. Mix them really well until you get a fluffy and light texture.
  2. Add vanilla essence, all-purpose flour, baking powder and cornflour, and mix everything together.
  3. Cookie dough is ready.
  4. Divide the dough into three equal parts and take them in three different bowls.
  5. Add pink food gel colour in a part and mix it well. Set aside.
  6. Add chocolate food gel colour in another part and give it a mix too. Set aside.
  7. Refrigerate all three cookie dough for half an hour.

Vanilla chocolate chips cookies –

Take the white dough out of the fridge. Break a small portion out of the dough and give it a cookie’s shape. Put it on the baking tray. Repeat the procedure and make all other cookies. Now add chocolate chips on top of them and press a little.

Chocolate chunk cookies –

Take the chocolaty dough out of the fridge. Break a small portion out of the dough and give it a cookie’s shape. Put it on the baking tray. Repeat the procedure and make all other cookies. Now add some dark chocolate chunks on top of them and press a little.

Pink peanut butter cookies –

Take the pink dough out of the fridge. Break a small portion out of the dough and give it a cookie’s shape. Make a small hole in the cookie and put some peanut butter in it. Fold it. Put it on the baking tray. Repeat the procedure and make all other cookies. Now add some roasted peanuts on top of them and press a little.

Baking instructions –

For baking in a kadai,

  1. Take a kadai. Put some salt in it. And, preheat on medium flame for 10 minutes.
  2. Put a stand or bowl on the salt, and place the baking tray on it. Put the lid on of the kadai.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

For baking in the oven,

  1. Preheat oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  2. Put the baking tray inside the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. When cookies are baked, cool it for 5 minutes first and then serve. Enjoy!
