Pizza is everyone’s favourite, right? The aroma of pizza coming of a Domino’s outlet almost drags us to get inside and grab a multigrain pizza Domino’s. What restricts our health-conscious mind is indulging loads of all-purpose flour/ maida!

To get you a delicious and healthy recipe of homemade pizza from scratch, all effort is done! And, there is good news, guys! To make this mouth-watering pizza at home, you don’t require any pizza sauce recipe or filler cheese recipe. Hurray!

I have prepared the entire multigrain pizza recipe with readymade ingredients except for the pizza dough. After all, there is no better substitute for preparing pizza dough at home!

How to make multigrain pizza base at home

Ingredients:

For the dough,

  • Multigrain atta – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 4 tsp
  • Instant dry yeast – ½ tsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp (in total)
  • Lukewarm water – ½ cup or as required for kneading

Recipe:

  1. In a bowl, take all the ingredients but do not put salt directly on the yeast. Instant dry yeast does not require proofing so you can use it to make an instant dough
  2. Mix everything well
  3. Knead with lukewarm water for 5-10 minutes
  4. Make a smooth dough
  5. Put some oil on the dough and on its sides
  6. Rest it covered with a plastic wrap (or wet towel) for at least 1 hour
  7. Prepare the baking tray by sprinkling flour or brushing oil on it
  8. After an hour, take the dough out of the bowl and gently put it on the baking tray
  9. Spread it with hand and form a thin pizza base

How to prepare pizza for baking

On Pizza base,

  • Readymade pizza sauce
  • Cheese slices - 5

For toppings,

  • Green capsicum sliced – 1 small size
  • Tomato slices – 1 small size
  • Onion – 1 medium size (if you do not eat just skip it!)
  • Corn
  • Paneer cubes
  • Black olives
  • Mozzarella cheese (grated) - 60 gm

For masala sprinkling,

  • Oregano – ½ tsp
  • Garlic flakes - ½ tsp
  • Pizza seasoning - ½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder/ chilli flakes - ½ tsp

Recipe:

  1. Spread pizza sauce on the pizza base
  2. Put cheese slices on it and cover the entire base
  3. Put all the toppings
  4. Sprinkle all the masalas
  5. Grate mozzarella cheese on the pizza
  6. Put it in a preheated oven (preheat oven at 210° Celcius for 10 minutes) at 210° Celsius for 20 minutes (oven bake).
  7. For baking in Kadai, preheat the kadai on a medium flame for 10 minutes with salt in it. Put a stand or katora on the salt and place the pizza tray on it. bake for 20-25 minutes. (Kadai bake)
  8. Your multigrain pizza is ready to be served.
  9. Cool it for 5 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle some oregano, cut in pieces & serve hot. Enjoy!
